Investment opportunities in Luxor, Qaliubiya, Matruh disclosed

CAIRO – 1 August 2017: New investment opportunities in Qaliubiya, Marsa Matruh and Luxor were revealed during a Tuesday meeting with Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr.

Governor of Qaliubiya Mahmoud Ashmawy said that there is a plan to develop Qanater Barrages that include building a number of tourist projects, including hotels and gardens, he said in a statement by the Ministry.

The plan includes establishing lakes and an amusement park, in addition to introducing new transportation means.

Ashmawy said these projects will lie nearby new Benha-Shoubra al-Kheima road, and he agreed with Nasr to conduct feasibility studies on these projects.

As for Marsa Matruh, governor of Alaa Abu Zeid presented investment opportunities to develop the northern-western coast of the Mediterranean, including building economic and tourist center and urban communities.

Governor of Luxor Mohamed Badr told Nasr that there are opportunities to invest in new hotels and tourist walks.
