CAIRO – 28 July 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange rate stabilized against the Egyptian pound in Friday's banking transactions, while the European Euro and British Pound increased.
The exchange rate of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for the U.S. dollar is LE 17.83 for buying and LE 17.93 for selling, keeping Thursday rate.
As for the euro, it rose to LE 20.85 for buying and LE 20.97 for selling, compared to LE 20.78 for buying and LE 20.90 for selling on Thursday, according to the CBE.
The GBP (British Pound) leveled up to LE 23.44 for buying and LE 23.57 for selling, down from LE 23.29 for buying and LE 23.42 for selling.
As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal stood stable at LE 4.75 for buying and LE 4.78 for selling, according to the CBE.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 58.87 for buying and LE 59.50 for selling and the Emirati Dirham registered LE 4.85 for selling and LE 4.88 for buying.
