CAIRO - 27 jULY 2017: The Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) plans to establish 15 logistic centers in Africa to promote Egyptian exports, the FEDCOC chief said.
In statements to MENA on Thursday, Alaa Ezz said FEDCOC seeks to set up logistic centers within the framework of a comprehensive strategy to magnify the benefit of free trade agreements signed by Egypt with various countries to up Egyptian exports.
He added that the cost of establishing a logistic center ranges between one to five million dollars.
FEDCOC will establish six of the logistic centers, while the remaining nine will be set up by private companies.
FEDCOC seeks cooperation with the Egyptian International Freight Forwarding Association (EIFFA) to establish a land, sea and railway transportation grid linking logistic centers with neighboring countries
