CAIRO - 27 July 2017: Exports of construction materials rose by 17 percent during the period from January to June 2017, recording $2.63 billion compared to $2.24 billion during the same period in the previous year.
In its monthly statement, the Export Council for Building Refractory and Metallurgy industries said exports of metal products increased by 19 percent during the aforementioned period reaching $2.06 billion compared to $1.7 billion during the same period in the previous year.
Egypt's exports of steel and aluminum products also rose by 216% and 8%, recording $483 and $217 million respectively, the statement read.
