Egypt welcomes Kuwaiti investments in food industries, oil & gas

CAIRO – 24 November 2024: Egypt targets Kuwaiti investments in the sectors of food industries, oil and gas, and petrochemicals, as well as boosting trade between the two countries, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty stated Sunday.

His statements were made Sunday in a meeting with Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Anwar Ali Abdullah Al-Mudhaf during his visit to Kuwait.

The minister underscored the importance of expanding the role of the Egypt-Kuwait Business Council, as well as identifying cooperation opportunities in Africa. He also noted that Egyptian firms could take part in the developmental and modernization projects in Kuwait building on the experience they accumulated while implementing national projects in Africa.
