Rice stock-out valid for 25 days, food oil 60 days: CAPMAS

CAIRO - 25 July 2017: Available quantity of rice in Egyptian market reaches 63.3 thousand tons, reserve for 25 days, Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) announced on Tuesday.

In its report about the stock-outs of basic food commodities that available in July 2017, CAPMAS showed that the available quantity of food oil reaches 229.6 thousand tons reserve for a period ranges between 0ne and two months for maximum.

Sugar’ stock-out reaches 1.1 million tons reserve for four months, life stock’ stock-out reaches 73.6 thousand head of cattle reserve for a period of four to six months, according to CAPMAS report.
