Key initiatives include accrediting education quality for four years, developing specialized curricula for industry needs, and launching innovative four-year bachelor’s programs in fields like Mechatronics, Information and Communication Technology, Autotronics, and Railway Technology.

The program also aims to boost university-industry collaboration, enhance graduate employability, and economically empower female students.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat witnessed the signing ceremony.

Al-Mashat emphasized that the agreement reflects the strong partnership between Egypt and South Korea, focusing on linking education with industry to create promising opportunities for youth and supporting inclusive economic growth.

This initiative builds on the first phase of the project, launched in 2016 with a $5.8 million grant.

The initial phase established the Egyptian-Korean College at Beni Suef Technological University, which opened in 2019 with standout programs in Information Technology and Mechatronics, addressing industrial market needs and preparing the next generation of skilled professionals.
