CAIRO - 20 November 2024: Egypt participated strongly in the G20 summit held in Brazil in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the special invitation of Lula da Silva, President of Brazil, the host country of the summit in which Egypt is participating for the fourth time amid major challenges facing the world.

Now the question is how does the Egyptian economy benefit from participating in the Rio de Janeiro summit?

First, consolidating the relationship between Egypt and Brazil, and transforming it into a strong partnership after the main Egyptian and Brazilian signing, which strongly supports Egypt in light of Brazil's strength in its regional environment, and its adoption of Arab issues.

Second, highlighting the pivotal role played by Egypt in sheltering refugees, and its endurance of many difficulties, and thus supporting it during the next stage to confront these challenges.

Third: Shedding light on the advantages of the Egyptian economy, especially in the field of new and renewable energy, in light of the world's trend in this direction, which supports attracting new investments in this important sector, in addition to shedding light on the importance of the Suez Canal Economic Zone and its role in the global trade movement, which turns it into a global logistics meeting place.

Fourth: Confirming Egypt's leading and powerful role in the Middle East and Africa, which consolidates its regional and international position.

Fifth: Increasing Egyptian exports during the coming period to the markets linked to the G20 countries, which are among the largest global markets.

Sixth: Effective action to end tensions in the southern Red Sea; which contributes to the return of navigation to the Suez Canal again in a normal manner, which restores its momentum again and restores the expected revenues from it.

Seventh: In cas the state of war ends in Gaza Strip, it is expected that the incoming tourism movement to Egypt, especially in Sinai, will increase during the coming period; which adds significant resources to the Egyptian economy.
