Amazon.eg , providing a wider selection for customers. As Shark Tank’s third season kicks off, this collaboration will provide SMBs and entrepreneurs with essential tools and programs, including Amazon.eg funded incentives, dedicated account managers, and advertising space on Amazon.eg.
“Egyptian entrepreneurs have demonstrated incredible capabilities across many different industries, and our collaboration with Shark Tank is a continuation of our commitment to foster and empower promising local businesses and startups to scale and grow,” said Amazon Egypt General Manager, Omar Elsahy. “Aligned with Egypt’s Vision 2030 strategy for a 'Digital Egypt,' we acknowledge our responsibility to continue investing and contributing to the growth of the Egyptian economy and our communities, and Shark Tank presents a platform to celebrate innovation that drives economic growth. Our goal is to help these innovative SMBs thrive and contribute to the development of the Egyptian economy, supported by Amazon’s technological advancements and fulfillment networks in a meaningful way.”
As part of this collaboration, SMBs featured on Shark Tank will have the opportunity to showcase their products on the “El Masry Yiksab” storefront on Amazon.eg, a curated section dedicated to promoting Egyptian-made products and local sellers. These businesses will also benefit from Amazon’s Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) service, which handles storage, packing, and delivery. This ensures fast, efficient, and reliable deliveries, and makes products eligible for Amazon Prime’s fast and free delivery options. By managing logistics, customer service, and returns, Amazon enables business owners to focus on innovation and scaling their ventures.
“We are thrilled to partner with Amazon Egypt to provide our entrepreneurs with an opportunity to showcase their innovative products and reach a wider customer base," said Ahmed Luxor, CEO and Co-Founder of Innovative Media Productions, producers of Shark Tank. “This collaboration aligns with our mission to support and empower local businesses, and we believe it will open new doors for our entrepreneurs to scale their ventures.”

Mirame Khamis, owner of Asfoura, a popular children’s book brand and Amazon.eg selling partner, gained national visibility as a participant on Shark Tank last season. Reflecting on the experience, she shared: “I worked in corporates organization for 12 years before deciding to pursue my passion for children’s literature. It coincided perfectly that we launched on Amazon exactly a day before our Shark Tank episode aired, granting anyone interested in Asfoura an easy, accessible solution to try out our stories. We’ve been able to conveniently put a book in many children’s hands thanks to both Shark Tank’s exposure & Amazon’s reach,” said Khamis.
Ahmed Luxor, CEO and Co-founder of IMP, added: "Our mission at IMP has always been to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit in Egypt, and this partnership with Amazon Egypt amplifies that goal. It’s not just about growth within Egypt; it’s about giving startups the tools to compete regionally and globally. By collaborating with Amazon, entrepreneurs will gain insights and resources that can elevate their businesses to the next level, potentially transforming them into major players on the international stage."
