CAIRO – 27 October 2024: Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Amr Talaat, inaugurated the Deloitte Innovation Hub, backed by a $30 million investment over three years, as announced by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).

This marks Deloitte’s first center for exporting innovative digital services from Egypt.

The center has grown its export-oriented operations to serve global clients, currently employing 350 of Egypt’s finest professionals, a mix of fresh graduates and seasoned experts. Deloitte aims to scale this workforce to 5,000 specialists in the coming years.

Minister Talaat emphasized that the opening of the Deloitte Innovation Center in Cairo demonstrates international confidence in Egypt as a prime destination for investment in IT services and digital innovation.

He also highlighted Egypt’s robust growth in digital exports, which reached approximately $6.2 billion in 2023.

Looking forward, the center will continue its strategic expansion, offering a wide range of services, including artificial intelligence, data analytics, marketing, commerce, cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise resource planning, tailored to meet the needs of clients across Europe and the Middle East.

This expansion further strengthens the center’s positive impact on the Egyptian market, bringing value to various sectors and industries across the country.
