Cairo – October 7, 2024: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday trading on a high, reporting a market cap. of LE 2.24 trillion.
Benchmark index EGX 30 rose by 0.31 percent to 31,819.16 points, while the Shariah index increased by 1.78 percent to 3,275.88 points.
EGX70 EWI was up by 0.18 percent to close at 7,571.61 points, with EGX 100 closing the session higher by 0.41 percent at 10,828.39 points.
The turnover reached LE 5.64 billion through the trading of 783.28 million shares.
Trading on securities saw Egyptian investors as net buyers with LE 609.66 million. Arab and foreign traders were the net sellers with LE 283.80 million and LE 325.85 million, respectively.
