CAIRO - 7 September 2024: The Egyptian government aims to expand the establishment of factories operating in the electronics industry under its 3-year program during the period (2024-2027) under the slogan "Together we build a sustainable future."

The program aims to enhancing Egypt's position as a regional center for the electronics industry and increasing electronics exports by 8 percent annually by 2026/2027.

The government also aims to review the institutional framework responsible for the Egyptian commodity export system and develop it in line with developments and updates in the Egyptian export system, and activate the role of the Supreme Council for Export in a way that achieves great effectiveness in supporting export efforts by making the necessary decisions to determine the general framework for plans and policies aimed at maximizing and developing Egyptian exports.

This comes in light of an integrated vision to increase the competitiveness of Egyptian exports, especially the special attention paid by the Egyptian government to enhancing the export support program, with the aim of encouraging exporters and thus increasing Egyptian exports. Efforts also include directing support towards priority sectors, as well as immediate payment of support.

The government also seeks to increase export rates in promising sectors such as petroleum, agriculture, manufacturing industries and electronics. In addition, the government focuses on improving the export system, as well as facilitating procedures, in addition to supporting the access of Egyptian products to global markets by developing logistical and promotional services and strengthening trade agreements.
