Polaris International Industrial Parks Company Plans $120M investment in Egypt

CAIRO - 1 August 2024: Polaris International Industrial Parks Company plans to infuse around $120 million in fresh investments, collaborating with the New Urban Communities Authority to execute a development project spanning 2.6 million square meters in New October.
 
This initiative was announced by Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Hassan El-Khatib, during discussions with the company's delegation.
 
El-Khatib highlighted the company's track record of successfully implementing investments totaling $4.5 billion in Egypt, which have led to the creation of 65,000 job opportunities.
 
The meeting also delved into strategies to bolster cooperation between the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and the company, including organizing a promotional trip to Turkey in September alongside the Egyptian-Turkish Business Council meeting.
 
This promotional campaign aims to showcase Egypt's investment landscape and attract additional Turkish investments to the Egyptian market, as emphasized by El-Khatib.
 
Tunc Ozkan, the company's Chairman, mentioned that Polaris was founded in Egypt in 2007 and currently manages a diverse investment portfolio comprising 12 projects across 7 million square meters in the cities of 10th of Ramadan, 6th of October, and Sadat.
