CAIRO – 03 July 2024: Local media recently disclosed the composition of Egypt's new cabinet under the continued leadership of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly. This reshuffle introduces fresh faces to several ministries, with a strong emphasis on addressing economic challenges and enhancing social programs.
Key changes in the cabinet include the reinstatement of the Ministry of Investment and the amalgamation of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Transport with the Ministry of International Cooperation and Economic Planning, along with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration.
Madbouly's revamped cabinet also entails a reorganization of governors, with reports indicating that 21 of Egypt's governorates will receive new leadership, while the remaining six will retain their current governors.
