Egypt's exports of construction materials reach $2.8 billion in 1st 4 months of 2024

CAIRO - 4 June 2024: Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Engineer Ahmed Samir and Major General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Governor of Suez, held a meeting with representatives of 137 international companies specialized in the field of iron and steel.
 
The meeting reviewed the investment opportunities available in the Egyptian market and the production and technological capabilities that can be built, and the necessacity to pump new investments into Egypt during the next stage.  
 
The Minister announced that exports of building materials increased during the first months of the current year to 2 billion and 876 million dollars, compared to about 2 billion and 554 million dollars during the same period in 2023, with an increase of about 12.6 percent.
