Orange Egypt has announced the commencement of submissions for the Orange Social Venture Prize 2024. This prestigious competition invites three Egyptian startup businesses to vie against enterprises from the Middle East and Africa for a share of €50,000 in rewards. The application deadline is Sunday, May 26th.
Celebrating its fourteenth consecutive year, the Orange Social Venture Prize aims to foster technological innovation among entrepreneurial organizations within the Middle East and Africa, regions where the Orange Group operates. Teams from 17 nations, including Egypt, will compete by presenting innovative and realistic solutions to address their respective countries' social and environmental challenges.
On this occasion, Maha Nagy, Orange Egypt's Chief Communications Officer, remarked, “Over the years, the Orange Social Venture Prize has proven to be an invaluable platform for emerging regional businesses seeking technical, financial, and moral support. It enables startups to engage with the business community and technology experts, providing them with the exposure they need to secure essential funding. The prize is designed for entrepreneurs with exceptional ideas for their communities, offering them the opportunity to transform these ideas into viable and pioneering enterprises."
