CAIRO – 10 March 2024: Atos, the French company specializing in digital transformation, has set a target to increase the export volume of its operations in Egypt to $300 million, as stated by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).
Since its establishment in Egypt in 2020, Atos has consistently expanded its outsourcing activities, with 73 percent of its total operations in Egypt dedicated to exporting services.
Additionally, the company plans to grow its workforce to include 3,000 engineers by 2027.
These announcements were made during the inauguration ceremony of Atos' new global services center headquarters in Egypt. The event was attended by Amr Talaat, the Minister of MCIT.
The establishment of this center aligns with Atos Egypt's objective to enhance its presence in the country, particularly in the realm of export-oriented digital services such as digital workplace solutions, application development, Microsoft services, SAP services, hybrid cloud, and infrastructure.
Furthermore, this opening ceremony is part of an agreement signed by Atos and 29 other international companies in the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly in November 2022, according to Talaat.
