CAIRO – 8 November 2023: A cooperation protocol was signed in the field of port development Wednesday by the Egyptian Company for Maritime Transport (MARTRANS) and Mauritania's United Group for Development.
The signing was attended by the Egyptian minister of transport, as the goal is transferring the Egyptian experience to Mauritania, on the sidelines of the fifth edition of TransMEA.
That is in fulfillment of the instructions of the Egyptian and Mauritanian presidents during the latter's visit to Cairo in June. The targeted sectors of cooperation are trade, investment, port development, and fish resources among others.
