CAIRO - 3 November 2023: The Petroleum Pricing Committee (MPC) decided early Friday to increase the prices of all types of gasoline by around 70 to 125 piasters. Meanwhile, the price of diesel remains stable.
Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, issued the decision for the new pricing to be implemented from Friday morning.
The new gasoline prices after the increase are as follows:
The Minister of Petroleum set the price per liter of 80-octane gasoline at LE 10 up from LE 8.75.
The price per liter of 92-octane gasoline increased to LE 11.50, up from LE 10.25.
The price per liter of 95-octane gasoline rose to LE 12.5, up from LE 11.5.
