Highlights: New projects aim to raise Alexandria port's global ranking

CAIRO - 1 August 2023: Egypt seeks to set up many different projects in all sectors, including the maritime transport sector, which has witnessed great development in recent years. 
 
Among the projects is the establishment of many different projects to raise Alexandria port's capacity globally, in a way that it can receive huge sailing ships from all over the world.
 
In the below lines, et highlights some of the projects that targeted developing the maritime transport sector:
 
1- Tahya Misr Station 55-62, with a sidewalk length of 2500 meters
 
2- Berth 85/3, with a length of berths 433 meters
 
3- Al-Maleh Lock Bridges, including 2 bridges with a length of 170 meters
 
4- Establishing the infrastructure for new squares with an area of 176,000 square meters
 
5- The berth for marine services is 7.5 meters long by 60 meters wide and 13 meters long by 100 meters wide.
 
6- Platform 100 (The berth is 1150 meters long and 16 meters deep)
 
7- Logistics area 273 acres (Totaling 18-24 million tons)
 
8- Nag Esso and Aluminium (A total of 12.86 acres for the aluminum face)
 
Nag Eso with a total of 6.42 acres
