CAIRO - 13 July 2023: Egypt's Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC), an affiliate of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), has announced the launch of 'SECC Tech Nights', a series of seminars aimed at promoting knowledge and innovation in the field of technology. The seminars will be held at the Creativa Innovation Hub in Giza, near Cairo University. According to an official statement, the inaugural event is scheduled to take place on July 17.
The SECC Tech Nights seminars will cover a wide range of topics, with a particular focus on Generative AI and its applications across various sectors, including software engineering, FinTech, DevOps, and Agile methodologies. Additionally, experts will delve into the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions for enterprises and address the challenges associated with AI implementation.
Renowned experts and specialists from the information and communication technology (ICT) sector will lead the two-hour evening seminars, providing practical insights and theoretical knowledge on the latest technology trends. The seminars aim to equip small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), university students, and entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and techniques to enhance their businesses, streamline processes, and leverage the potential of emerging technologies such as AI.
The Creativa Innovation Hub, where the SECC Tech Nights will be held, is part of a national-scale initiative led by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). The hub serves as a platform to foster digital creativity, support technological startups, and promote innovation-based entrepreneurship. Through collaborations with specialized global business accelerators and incubators, the MCIT aims to create an environment that encourages digital innovation and stimulates technological advancements.
By hosting 'SECC Tech Nights', the SECC and ITIDA are actively contributing to Egypt's efforts to boost its technology sector and nurture a culture of innovation.
