CAIRO - 18 June 2023: TV program "El Forsa with Lamees El-Hadidi" is witnessing intense competition among startups at the governorate level as it aims to broaden its geographical reach.
The program's aim is to identify and provide opportunities for the most promising startups, expanding the circle of opportunity for emerging companies across different regions. The new season, spanning 16 weeks, promises excitement and entertainment for viewers.
In the latest episode aired on the "ON" channel, the second episode of the new season, contestants from Delta cities and Dakahlia Governorate presented their projects to the jury.
Lamees El-Hadidi, the renowned journalist, emphasized that the program aims to support emerging companies to reach the stature of industry giants like Facebook, Google, and Tesla, recognizing their contribution to the real economy. She expressed her deep connection to this program, considering it a significant milestone in her media career.
The second season of “El Forsa" program commenced from Alexandria Governorate in the first week of June. The competition structure consists of two phases, each with a separate panel of judges.
The first phase involves preliminary qualifications, where numerous startup founders face the qualifying jury. Based on their evaluation, the contestants are either given a "chance" to proceed to the next stage or provided with a "second chance," which allows them to refine their projects and re-enter in the following season.
The first stage culminates in the selection of the top 30 startups, with five directly advancing to the golden opportunity. The subsequent stage comprises studio competitions, led by Lamees El Hadidi, where each episode features three projects competing before a distinct jury, whose members will be announced soon.
"El Forsa with Lamees El Hadidi" stands as the largest TV competition for startups on Arab screens and airs every Wednesday at 9:00 pm on the "ON" channel.
