CAIRO – 22 May 2023: The Egyptian Commercial Office in Paris released Monday data showing that the value of trade exchange between Egypt and France hit €4.4 billion in 2022 up from €2.7 billion in the previous year with an increase of 60.34 percent.
Egyptian exports to France grew by 136 percent to record €2.16 billion, including a 54.13-percent rise in non-petroleum goods and that is worth €1.163 billion. Those are mostly fertilizers, electronic devices, and home appliances.
As for Egyptian imports from France, they are mainly grains, except for rice, legumes, and oil seeds. Their value increased by 23 percent in 2022 to register €2.28 billion.
