The ministry said in a statement on Saturday that Mashat's remarks came while attending two high-level meetings on the sidelines of the 2023 Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund in Washington.

Egypt has worked on the report for more than one year to define challenges facing the national economy and development and climate-linked domains.

The minister also shed light on the launch of Egypt’s Platform for the NWFE Program that aims to put the CCDR’s recommendations into effect to accelerate transition to green economy.
