GAFI aims to resolve investors' problems: Chairman

CAIRO - 10 April 2023: The main goal of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) is to resolve any problem facing the investors, said GAFI's Chairman Hossam Heiba.

 

Heiba, meanwhile, vowed that 80 percent of the problems facing investors will be resolved before June 30.

 

Heiba's remarks were made during an Iftar event, organized yesterday by Alexandria Business Association.

 

He further said that GAFI will launch the digital platform of establishing companies next July.

 

Such platform will enable investors to set up their companies electronically, he went on to explain.

 

He also said that GAFI is working on developing Egypt's investment map, adding that it will include all opportunities, projects and investment venues in Egypt.

 

For his part, Board Chairman of Alexandria Business Association Mohamed Hanno said that the association is continuing its expansion plans nationwide in order to serve the entrepreneurs.

 

The total number of micro loans which were provided by the association reached as many as 711,000 loans with total value worth LE 7 billion, he added.
