CAIRO – 20 March 2023: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli attended Monday the signing ceremony of an agreement between the Suez Canal Authority and V Group, the parent company of Antipollution SA, to establish a subsidiary of the company in Egypt in order to recycle solid and liquid waste.

The agreement was signed between the Canal Company for Ropes and the Suez Shipyard on one hand, and Antipollution SA owned by Greek-Egyptian Businessman Eric Adam on the other hand.

On another level, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Admiral Osama Rabie announced earlier this month that the international waterway had achieved revenues worth $8 billion in 2022 and that the goal for 2023 ranges between $8.6 billion and $9 billion.
