CAIRO - 14 March 2023: There is great cooperation between Egypt and Denmark in several aspects including: training pilots, ships transiting the Suez Canal or in green hydrogen, stated Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, head of the Suez Canal Authority

Lieutenant General Osama Rabie added that there is also maritime cooperation with the Danish company Maersk.

The head of the Suez Canal Authority added, in TV statements, that there is cooperation with the Danish company Maersk in developing arsenals and converting launches to use renewable fuel, continuing: We will provide all services and facilities, and we offer many advantages to Maersk, in addition to Discounts when ships contain large containers.
 
Lieutenant General Osama Rabie pointed out that the new Suez Canal is the reason for the increase in the number of ships. During the past months, 90 ships and 94 ships were passing through, and today through 107 ships, along with the largest tonnage of 6 million tons, and achieving the highest return of the dollar per day, 40 million dollars today.
