Egypt-TEDA seeks to implement 7 new projects worth $5B, says chairman

CAIRO - 22 February 2023: Liu Aimin, President of Egypt-TEDA SEZone Development Company, said Wednesday that they are seeking to attract seven new ventures worth about five billion dollars in the coming stage.

 

Speaking during a meeting with chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Walid Gamaleddin, Liu said he has been working in Egypt for about 15 years now and considers it his second homeland.

 

Liu also made it clear that he has full support of the different Egyptian institutions working at the SCZone.

 

The meeting is meant to enhance cooperation between the SCZone and its partners of success, including investors and industrial developers, the SCZone said in a statement.

 

Gamaleddin, for his part, greatly appreciated cooperation with China, noting that projects implemented by Egypt-TEDA SEZone Development Company constitute a good example of successful teams of action.

 

The SCZone remains committed to promoting Egypt-TEDA projects, whether inside Egypt or abroad, Gamaleddin stressed.
