Egypt keen to provide various facilities to support industrial sector

CAIRO - 5 February 2023: The State is keen on providing various facilities and incentives to support the role of the industrial sector, affirmed Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.

 

The industrial sector plays a central role in boosting the national economy, he added during a meeting held Sunday to follow up on efforts to localize technological industries and the mobile phone industry in Egypt.

 

The government is keen on exerting strenuous efforts to localize industry in the various spheres, he further said.

 

Such efforts fall within the framework of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives in this respect, he added.

 

The meeting, which was attended by a host of senior officials and ministers, tackled the ongoing efforts to localize the mobile phone industry in Egypt.

 

The meeting further reviewed several incentives and facilities, which will contribute to increasing the volume of investments for the global companies operating in the sphere of technological industries and the mobile phone industry, said Cabinet Spokesman Nader Saad.
