Egypt's Minister of Trade and Industry, Ahmed Samir
CAIRO - 26 October 2022: Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir said on Wednesday Egypt and the UAE have several promising opportunities for fostering industrial, investment, and trade cooperation between the two countries in the coming period.
Samir was speaking during his participation in a panel discussion on the occasion of celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Egypt-UAE relations in the presence of Planning Minister Hala El Said, UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla Bin Touq, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, and other officials.
The minister pointed out that Egypt, the UAE, Jordan, and Bahrain agreed on cooperating in 12 projects with a total investment of $3.4 billion under the umbrella of the initiative of integrated industrial partnership for sustainable economic development.
