CAIRO - 3 October 2022: Egypt's composite index regarding the governance indicators in 2021 was up recording 27.5 points, according to a report by the World Bank Group issued in September, 2022.

Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Saeed said in statements Monday that the global governance indicators measure the quality of governance for more than 200 countries.

Such indicators are divided into six main dimensions; political stability and absence of violence, terrorism, rule of law, corruption control, efficiency of government, right to expression and organizational quality, added Saeed, who is also president of the board of trustees of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development of the WGIs.

Egypt's performance has improved in five indicators out of the six, according to her.
