CAIRO - 2 August 2022: The US dollar exchange rate surpassed LE 19 during Tuesday's transactions at Egypt's major banks.

The US dollar rate increased by 5 piasters for buying and selling.

At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar rate reached LE 18.96 for buying and LE 19.02 for selling.

At the Suez Canal Bank, the dollar rate registered LE 18.94 for buying and LE 19.04 for selling.

At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar exchange rate amounted to LE 18.98 for buying and LE 19.04 for selling.

At the Arab African International Bank, the dollar exchange rate reached LE 18.94 for buying and LE 19.04 for selling.
