GAFI head hails Majid Al Futtaim's selection of Egypt for its regional outsourcing services business

CAIRO - 23 June 2022: Chief Executive Director of the General Authority for Investment & Free Zones (GAFI) Mohamed Abdel Wahab hailed the decision of Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions to select Egypt as a center for its regional outsourcing services.

 

He said this decision reflects the attractive investment climate in Egypt.

 

Abdel Wahab's remarks came during his participation in the inauguration of a premises of Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions at City Center Almaza's investment zone, according to a statement released by the Cabinet's media center on Thursday.

 

The GAFI head added that the State developed a strategy for strengthening investment in human cadres, which includes providing training and capacity-building programs.

 

He noted that Egypt has young cadres that are qualified to export services related to business development and information technology.

 

Abdel Wahab explained that Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions is aimed at providing outsourcing services to its regional clients from its premises in Egypt.

 

On his part, Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions Khaled El Chidiac said the inauguration of the new premises came as a result of joint efforts with the GAFI.
