"Egypt Can with Industry" Conference kicks off Tuesday

CAIRO - 31 May 2022: The activities of the sixth edition of Egypt Can Conference series kicked off Tuesday, under the title "Egypt Can with Industry", in the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, with the participation of a large number of ministers and a diverse selection of Egyptian and foreign experts and investors from different countries of the world.

 

The conference, which includes 12 sessions in cooperation between the Ministries of Immigration, Trade, Industry, Military Production and the Public Business Sector, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, will discuss several axes on developing the industrial sector.

 

The opening session of the conference includes a review and discussion of industrial investment and a mechanism for supporting and developing industrial societies in Egypt to achieve sustainable development, by linking the capital market with industrial investment, and finding mechanisms to stimulate investment in the capital market and linking it to investment and industry financing. The second session discusses the green industry, in light of Egypt's readiness to host the COP27 Climate Conference.

 

The third session will also discuss the future of industry between Egypt and Africa - challenges and opportunities, and review ways to enhance industrial investment between Egypt and African countries, in order to achieve mutual benefit and maximize the common interest with all countries of the continent.

 

In the "Green Industry" session, the conference will discuss the issue of green transformation and the most important files of the environment and climate. The session aims to benefit from the expertise and experiences of Egyptians abroad who specialize in this field to support the Egyptian state's strategy towards green transformation, and efforts made to preserve the environment and in light of Egypt's hosting of the Climate Change Summit Cop 27, and the second session is the Success Partners session; the prospects for industrial investment in Egypt.

 

One of the most important sessions of the conference is the "Industry Session, the Locomotive of Development in Africa".

 

As for the last sessions of the first day, the Fourth Industrial Revolution session..a look at future preparations, and the session is one of the important and expanded conference sessions, where it discusses the preparations to be taken and the necessary preparations to enter the world of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
