CAIRO – 21 April 2022: Fawry for Banking Technology and Electronic Payment recorded an 8.3-percent hike in its consolidated profits during 2021, reaching LE 242.12 million, up from LE 223.56 million during the same half of 2020, including the minority rights.
The company’s revenues rose to LE 1.65 billion, compared to LE 1.23 billion during 2020.
As per standalone results, the company recorded profits of LE 120.41 million, compared to LE 186.23 million during 2020.
During the first nine months of 2021, the company achieved profits of LE 193.7 million, compared to profits of LE 145.1 million in the comparative period of 2020.
Fawry operates within the software & services sector focusing on data processing & outsourced services. Fawry is based in Cairo, Egypt and was established in June 2008.
