Egypt sets custom dollar at LE 16 for essential commodities in April

CAIRO - 21 March 2022: Egypt will set the customs dollar at a rate of LE 16 for basic commodities and production requirements at the end of next month, according to the Ministry of Finance announced Monday.

 

The price of the customs dollar is the price that the Ministry of Finance used to set for the dollar against the pound on a monthly basis, which it uses to determine the value of goods that are imported from abroad, and the value of customs duties imposed on them.
