Petroleum min. reviews Egypt's vision on transformation to clean, green energy

CAIRO - 9 March 2022: Petroleum Minister Tarek el Molla presented, in a discussion organized by the US Arab Chamber of Commerce in the US city of Houston, Egypt’s vision in the energy transformation and the global direction towards clean and green energies in light of Egypt’s hosting of COP 27 in addition to the developing role of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum and the opportunities available for the US companies.

 

Molla asserted the investment opportunities available in Egypt in the fields of petroleum and natural gas industries which go in line with the national strategic vision to face climate change, according to a statement of the Ministry of Petroleum on Wednesday.

 

Molla pointed out to the success of the investments of the US companies in the Egyptian market, adding that this market witnesses clear development and opens special investment opportunities.
