CAIRO - 14 February 2022: Egypt’s exports of the petroleum sector rose to $13 billion in 2021, according to Minister of Petroleum Tarek El-Molla.

He noted during his speech at EGYPS 2022 that 37 petroleum agreements have been signed, and natural gas will be delivered to 1.2 million housing units for the third year, adding that an estimated subsidy of LE 20 billion has been provided annually.

“420,000 cars have been converted to run on gas, and the number is increasing,” he stated.
