The MoU calls for promoting cooperation in technological projects to serve the Egyptian National Railways (ENR) and upgrading systems to ferry passengers.
On the Italian side, the memorandum was inked by Almaviv's President Alberto Tripi.
Wazir said the ministry has adopted a certain plan aimed at developing IT activities and systems in all transport sectors in general and railways in particular.
In turn, Tripi said he is upbeat to cooperate with the ministry in IT sector, in addition to exchanging expertise and advanced technologies.
Almaviv has a great history in IT service management systems in Italy and many countries, including Finland, UK and Brazil
