CAIRO - 17 January 2022: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) launched Sunday the second edition of its promotional conference in the governorates from Sohag; entitled, "Stock Exchange for Development" Conference
The conference comes under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, and in cooperation with the Egyptian Businessmen Association and Sohag Governorate.
The conference was attended by Major General Tarek El-Feki, Governor of Port Said, Mohamed Farid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EGX, Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Vice President of the EGX, Mostafa Abdel-Khaleq, President of Sohag University, Ahmed Sami, Vice President of Sohag Governorate and members of the Board of Directors of the EGX, led by Ahmed Abu El-Saad, Dalia Aswah, Rania Yacoub.
The Small and Medium Enterprises Authority, representatives of companies sponsoring the SME market, and a number of business and trade men in Sohag Governorate attended the conference.
The conference comes within the framework of the Egyptian Stock Exchange’s keenness to support the Egyptian state’s efforts to achieve the objectives of its economic and social development plans by contributing to the localization of development by supporting many companies operating in Egypt’s governorates in various sectors, by helping these companies access financing through organized public markets, which are the capital markets known in the media as stock exchanges.
