CAIRO - 7 December 2021: The Medium, Small and Micro Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) announced injecting funds for small and micro projects in Zefta Center, which includes 54 villages, exceeding LE 14.2 million.

It has implemented about 349 projects, providing nearly 931 job opportunities since the initiative began in the period (January-October) 2021, according to MSMEDA.

The agency indicated in a statement, Tuesday, that its branch in Gharbia participates in seminars in cooperation with the National Council for Women. The seminars are held in the village of Tafna Al-Azab in Zefta Center, during which the concept of financial inclusion and its importance will be presented, and how to establish a small project and develop project work plans.

The seminars also presented types of funds offered by the NTRA and the procedures for obtaining them. Other similar seminars are scheduled to be held in the village of Nahtai this month in the context of improving the living standards of citizens in the most needy areas.

She stressed that it is to develop the capabilities of the residents of the targeted centers and villages, develop their productive skills, and help them establish small and micro projects that improve their standard of living, especially young people, by providing the necessary funds and training courses to help them set up new small projects or expand their existing projects.

For his part, Mohamed Al-Aqami, director of the agency’s branch in Gharbia, invited young men and women to head to the branch’s headquarters to learn about all the services provided by the agency and how to benefit from them, and to join such seminars.
