DUBAI/CAIRO - 28 October 2021: Activities of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) started in the Expo 2020 Dubai international fair on Thursday morning.
Chairmen of the Suez Canal Authority and the SCZone Osama Rabie and Yehia Zaki respectively were present in the fair.
A high turnout by international and local investors to the Egyptian pavilion was recorded, according to a statement by the SCZone.
The UAE, Japanese and French investors were very interested in participating in the Zone' activities in the fair, said the statement.
Expo 2020 Dubai offers a distinguished opportunity for visitors to get acquainted with the Egyptian development experiment over the past period, which has included serious work and unprecedented achievements in the various sectors such as the upgrade of harbors, the establishment of the New Administrative Capital (NAC) and smart new cities and the implementation of giant national projects, said Zaki.
The participation of the Egyptian State in the exhibition reflects its utmost keenness on rendering this round a success, the first of its kind to convene in an Arab country, according to him.
