CAIRO - 13 June 2021: Chairman of the Egyptian Junior Business Association (EJB) Gamal Abou Ali underscored Sunday in IPAs Africa Forum 1 that Africa has the problem of access to information on investment opportunities saying that the recent introduction of investment promotion agencies (IPAs) in the continent may help in remedying that flaw.

Abou Ali presented the impediments faced by Egyptian investors when considering the African market, Those are financing opportunities, export guarantees, and suitable partners. Speaking of the last one, Abou Ali suggested that IPAs must help with setting up partnerships between local and foreign investors.

The businessman added that Egyptian companies also need training on entering African markets, which are “relatively not very familiar to them yet.”
