The launch, which came during the company’s participation and sponsorship of The Design Show 2021, aims to consolidate its position as the paint market leader in Egypt, Africa and the middle east.
The Design Show is the most important event bringing together architects, designers and leading suppliers of the design industry in the region.

Ashraf Abdel Galil, Commercial Director of Colours at GLC Paints, said that the new “Storm Shield” products provide the Egyptian and Arab markets with integrated exterior paint solutions.
Storm Shield aims to protect and beautify consumers assets regardless of their geographical location from dust, sun or rain with the main objective to extend the life of the facility and reduce maintenance cost.
Abdel Galil noted that state of the art technologies and highest quality ingredients were used to manufacture Storm Shield products. All tests were conducted by independent international laboratories specialized in coating certifications. All products passed the highest level certifications in terms of safety and sustainability.
Abdul Galil added that the products add to the aesthetic dimensions of homes. The products are available in multiple finishes and a range of colours that cater of different tastes.
