The protocol was signed by Planning Minister and NIB Chairperson Hala el Saeed, Finance Minister Mohamed Maait and NBE Chairman Hesham Okasha.

Saaed said the protocol comes as part of the state's efforts to develop the NIB and settle its disputes with different parties to help it assume its role in funding various investment and economic development projects.
