A statement by the Chinese Trade Ministry said Monday that exports to Egypt amounted to $13.64 billion, registering an 11.83 percent rise.

Imports from Egypt stood at $0.92 billion, down by 7.84 percent, the Ministry added. 

As of December 2020, Egypt has become China's 49th trade partner, it noted.
