CAIRO - 17 August 2021: State Minister of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram commended efforts exerted to provide decent life for citizens as per the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Makram's remarks came during her visit to Qalyubia Governorate as part of activities of the second conference of Egyptian entities abroad on Tuesday.

The conference was launched Sunday with 400 participants and 33 Egyptian entities abroad from 18 countries attending.

Makram is inspecting projects that are being carried out in the national project for developing villages of the Egyptian countryside within the presidential initiative "Decent Life", accompanied by Qalyubia Governor Abdel Hamid el Haggan.

The conference aims at listening to suggestions of representatives of Egyptian entities abroad and mulling ways of putting them into effect.

It also aims at maintaining direct contact between the state and all Egyptian entities abroad.

The second edition runs in tandem with the major accomplishments being realized in the country in different domains and Sisi's announcement of the New Republic.

The first edition of the conference took place in July 2019 with the aim of engaging Egyptian expatriates in implementing Egypt Sustainable Development Vision 2030.

This edition is meant to promote the political leadership's vision as regards the New Republic and back "Decent Life" initiative" for developing the countryside.

The initiative aims to improve the standards of living, infrastructure, and services within Egypt’s lesser developed governorates.
