CAIRO – 3 April 2021: Egypt’s social initiative “Haya Karima” is targeting investments into upgrading the quality of education services in Egyptian villages.

 

The initiative includes establishing governmental and private universities, as well as mobile classrooms in all governorates.

 

The strategy also seeks to link the technical education system to the labor market and expanding technological universities.

 

The initiative plans to pump L.E. 7.5 billion into developing educational system in villages as part of the first phase; the plan includes establishing schools.

 

Over the past days, ministries of education and sports discussed ways of cooperation to utilize the unused lands and buildings at youth centers to convert them into smart classrooms.

 

The initiative confront student density, develop facilities in line with technological developments and raise the efficiency of the Internet to fit with the new educational system.
