This series revolves around the life of Aida, the middle and the smartest daughter of Hassan Dhargham.
Suddenly Aida’s brother is killed by Sameh, the half- brother of her husband, Yassin Ismail Al-Ghoul, leading to a feud between the two families who became enemies especially after Al-Ghoul’s family helped their pampered son Sameh to escape prison.
It is then that the cruelest and ugliest side of Aida’s character appears.
Will her family, of Upper Egyptian origins, allow her to take revenge? Will her almost-perfect marriage continue, or will her relationship with her husband collapse?
“Seid El Akareb” features an ensemble cast includ- ing Ghada Abdel Razek, Reyad El-Khouly, Simone, Mohamed Alaa, Ahmed Maher, Magdy Badr, Samia Atef, Mayar El-Gheity, Emad Safwat, Ahmed Maged, Ahmed Gamal Said, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Azouz Adel, Manal Salama, Safaa Galal, Mai Al-Qadi, Saif El-Der- by, Mohamed Salah, and Reem El Masry.
Scripted by Baher Dewidar and directed by Ahmed Hassan, the series is currently being screened on CBC channel.
