Tache Art Gallery Blog Goes Live

 The Tache Art Gallery launched a new blog (www.tacheartblog.com) dedicated to the nation’s contemporary art scene. Founded by long-time art collectors Taya Elzayadi and Sherine Badrawy, the gallery will be opening in Designopolis mall on the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road this month. The gallery will support established and up-and-coming contemporary artists as well as host a full range of modern gallery services, such as exhibitions, art events and art consultation services. “Our focus will always be on the artists themselves, and not on ourselves as a gallery,” said Elzayadi to the local press. Tache Art Gallery’s opening exhibit features works by internationally acclaimed contemporary artist Huda Lutfi. The collection will also include several new collages created especially for the exhibit.
